to my homepage. I'm an American writer and photographer, a world traveler and cruising
sailor, and a marine industry consultant.

The
purpose of this website is simply to introduce myself by sharing some of
my stories and articles with you. Many of
them have been (or are being) published in various books and in national magazines in the
United States and abroad, such as Cruising World, SAIL, Blue Water
Sailing, Good Old
Boat, Yachting,
Ocean Navigator, Cruising Helmsman, Motorboating and Yachting, and others (I even had one in Dog Fancy magazine!).
You're also welcome to read my travelogues
chronicling some recent land excursions slightly off the beaten track.
