Sounds pretty good, doesn't it? Cruising under sail is an
awesome lifestyle - wild & free, healthy, exotic, natural, laid-back
and ever-changing.
My name is Tor. I live and cruise aboard the beautiful 42'
ketch,
"Silverheels," presently exploring the western Caribbean. I'm happy with my life and with myself; having a lot of fun and some great adventures.
Only thing is, I'm doing this alone now and I think it would be more fun to share it with a lady. So I'm looking for a mate - one
companionable,
adventurous woman who's ready to pack light and sail away, or at least come check it out.
I'm (physically) in my late 40's; 62 chronologically.
All the photos of me here were taken
within the past 2 years. I'm seeking a woman in her late 30's to
early 40's to join me as a one-time, some-time or full-time
mate, someone ready to come share this amazing life and
lifestyle. All you need to be is spiritually
conscious, physically fit, slim/slender/thin/petit and toned,
smart, reasonably attractive and under 5’5” (1.65m).
I’m an experienced offshore skipper, a US Coast Guard licensed
Merchant Marine Master with nearly 150,000 nautical miles logged
under sail. I'm also a professional writer/photographer. My
articles appear in major boating magazines worldwide and my
book, "Ready for Sea!", is a popular manual for outfitting and
preparing a sailboat for extended passage-making and living
aboard. I know what I’m doing on a boat, and I’m a pretty good
teacher, too, when I’ve got a crew interested in learning.
My personal specs are: 5’7”, 165 lbs, solid and well built,
reasonably secure, chronically adventurous, somewhat
counter-culture, privately spiritual, generally joyful, upbeat &
positive, and (my mother says) better than average looking. I practice
meditation and Tolle presence, play guitar and sing and, well…
If you love the free life and world travel, then come see for
yourself. The best way to get started is to

me. Tell me about yourself, and please include some recent
photographs.
Update: Last spring I sailed Silverheels from Panama to Florida
and put her into dry-dock storage for a few months. After 5
years afloat it was time to take a break, to provide a
little contrast, which helps keep life fresh and fun. I bought a VW
pop-top campervan and spent the summer in the northwest
US national forests. Now I'm back aboard Silverheels in a boat yard
in northeast Florida, preparing to re-launch in late November and head
south again, to Cuba and beyond.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

PS: If this isn't for you, please pass it on to someone you think might want to know about it.
Thanks!
