Now, as I write this, I'm in Manhattan, staying in my father's mid-town apartment
(he lives most of the time over on Park Avenue and uses this place very little). I've
already enjoyed some great visits and outings with my daughter Lisa, son-in-law Ken,
and my awesome grandchildren, Reece and Gabrielle.

I've also
hung out with a friend of mine, Patricia, in the trendy
Chelsea district downtown. In the coming days I'll be spending time with
the rest of my family here - mother, father, sister, nephew - plus seeing some more of Patricia, and doing
assorted city stuff
to amuse myself. My Colorado sister Jacki, her husband Ron, and maybe
even my brother Roy, will be flying in later this week to add to the
familial milieu and we're planning a big get-together in Connecticut on
Saturday. ...It was a great feast!
